Job Title: Chef de Partie (Seasonal – April to September)
Department: Kitchen
Reports To: Sous Chef / Executive Chef

Position Summary:
Green Coast Hotel is seeking a talented Chef de Partie
to join our kitchen team for the peak season from April to September. The Chef de Partie will manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. This seasonal role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within a team to maintain the standards of a 5-star hotel kitchen during the busy summer season.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the menu and the hotel’s standards.
  • Manage and supervise a particular kitchen station (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry, vegetables).
  • Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner during high-volume periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
  • Monitor portion control and food wastage.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management and report any shortages to the Sous Chef.
  • Train and support junior kitchen staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Participate in menu planning and development when required.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a high-standard kitchen environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
