Position Title: Web Designer (WordPress & Shopify)
Location: US - Remote

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Designer to join our team, focusing on designing engaging and user-friendly websites using WordPress and Shopify platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern web design principles, e-commerce functionalities, and the ability to translate business needs into creative and effective online experiences.
Primary Responsibilities:
WordPress & Shopify Design:

• Design and create visually appealing websites using WordPress and Shopify platforms, ensuring brand consistency and a responsive design.
• Customize themes and templates to meet specific design and functionality requirements.
• Collaborate with content creators, marketers, and other stakeholders to align web design with overall business strategies.

E-Commerce Integration:

• Design and optimize online stores using Shopify, integrating essential e-commerce features such as product pages, shopping carts, and payment gateways.
• Enhance user experience by creating intuitive navigation, clear CTAs, and streamlined checkout processes.

UI/UX Design:

• Focus on user interface and user experience design, ensuring that websites are user-friendly, accessible, and optimized for conversions.
• Conduct user testing and analyze feedback to make necessary improvements.

SEO and Performance Optimization:

• Implement SEO best practices in design and structure to enhance site visibility.
• Monitor site performance and optimize speed and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.

Content Management:

• Manage and update website content, working closely with content writers and marketing team.
• Ensure that images, videos, and other media are appropriately optimized for web use.

Maintenance and Support:

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for websites, including updates, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in web design, with a focus on WordPress and Shopify platforms.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with e-commerce design and best practices.
• Demonstrated portfolio showcasing relevant design work.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
