Job Title: Transport Manager
Department: Logistics / Supply Chain
Reports to: Operations Manager / Logistics Director
Location: Tiranë.
Role Summary: The Transport Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all transport operations. This role ensures that goods are delivered efficiently, safely, on time, and in full compliance with legal and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and optimize daily transport routes and delivery schedules.
- Manage the company’s fleet and ensure regular maintenance and inspections.
- Supervise drivers and transport staff; manage shift planning and performance.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations (e.g., driver hours, vehicle licensing).
- Control transport costs and negotiate contracts with external carriers when needed.
- Monitor delivery KPIs and address delays or customer issues.
- Implement and manage transport management systems (TMS).
- Coordinate closely with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams.
- Ensure health & safety standards are met in all transport operations.
- Report regularly on fleet performance, costs, and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Logistics, Transport Management, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in transport or fleet management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Familiar with local/national transport laws and compliance.
- Proficiency with route planning and fleet management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve logistical challenges quickly.
