Aleat Sh.p.k. (www.aleat.al) is an Albanian Joint Venture company of Idemia Identity & Security (previously Sagem Sécurité) and the Albanian-American Enterprise Fund (AAEF) for the production and the distribution of the ID Cards and Biometric Passports for Albanian citizens.
For our organization we are looking for a System Administrator in IT Department.
SUMMARY
The System Administrator must have a deep and broad knowledge of computer software, hardware and networks. S/He will be responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting our company’s computer systems. The System Administrator will maintain the essentials such as operating systems, business applications, security tools, web-servers, email, laptop, and desktop PCs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintain assets in form of hardware or software with minimum assistance;
2. Configure/Manage monitoring tools based on leading solutions in the field;
3. Configure/Manage firewalls and switches;
4. Configure/Manage Storage appliances;
5. Monitor and operate the system based on guidelines and documentations;
6. Automating tasks and improve efficiency of the monitoring solution;
7. Manage infrastructure based on virtualization technologies;
8. Monitor and test regularly backup operations;
9. Keep the system up-to-date in security, using patch management best practices.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. University Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information systems or in relevant disciplines;
2. At least 5 years of working experience;
3. Experience on system, database, or application administration;
4. Preferred experience in managing Windows/Linux based operating systems;
5. Preferred experience in managing virtualization technologies;
6. Training on Linux/Microsoft or Virtualization fields are a plus;
7. Good interpersonal communication skills and positive attitude;
8. A commitment to quality and high level ad self-organization;
9. Good organizational and time management skills;
10. Energetic and dynamic person;
11. Ability to work as part of a team;
12. Ability to take initiatives;
13. Excellent knowledge of English language written and spoken;
14. Knowledge on PKI infrastructure/technologies is considered a plus;
15. Flexible on working extra time.
