Key Responsibilities:
- Government Tender Management:
- Lead the preparation, submission, and management of government tenders and bids.
- Ensure full compliance with government procurement policies, regulations, and deadlines.
- Liaise with government bodies and agencies regarding tender requirements, documentation, and bid clarifications.
- Track and report on tender deadlines and status, ensuring timely responses and submissions.
- Procurement Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, machinery, and other goods necessary for textile production.
- Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers, focusing on achieving cost savings while maintaining product quality.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality standards and delivery timelines are met.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procurement activities, including tenders, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Ensure that all procurement processes are in line with both internal policies and government procurement regulations.
- Prepare procurement reports for management review and compliance purposes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement, with a strong emphasis on government tenders and textile sector.
- Solid knowledge of government procurement procedures, including tender processes, regulations, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of textile industry materials, machinery, and suppliers.
