Main responsibilities:
• prepares and processes legal documents, draft and type office memos.
• mails, faxes, or arranges for delivery of legal correspondence to clients and court officials
• is responsible to receive and place telephone calls.
• make photocopies of correspondence, documents, and other printed matter.
• organizes and maintains the law libraries, documents, and case files.
• assists attorneys in collecting information such as employment, medical, and other records
• attends legal meetings, such as client interviews, hearings, or depositions, and takes notes
• reviews legal publications and performs database searches to identify laws and court decisions relevant to pending cases
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in Law or other related areas
• Excellent knowledge of writing, reading and speaking of English Language
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong typing skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Excellent communications skills; ability to act as liaison between attorneys and clients
• Proficient computer software skills
• Administrative skills
• Time management skills
