Infrastructure and Service Advisor (Storage e Backup Specialist)
As an Infrastructure and Service Advisor (Storage and Backup Specialist), you will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing the company’s and clients storage and backup infrastructure. Your role will ensure the integrity, availability, and security of critical data by maintaining efficient and robust storage and backup solutions. You will work closely with IT teams to implement storage strategies, troubleshoot issues, and provide backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Infrastructure and Service Advisor (Storage e Backup Specialist)
As an Infrastructure and Service Advisor (Storage and Backup Specialist), you will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing the company’s and clients storage and backup infrastructure. Your role will ensure the integrity, availability, and security of critical data by maintaining efficient and robust storage and backup solutions. You will work closely with IT teams to implement storage strategies, troubleshoot issues, and provide backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Storage Infrastructure Management: Manage enterprise storage systems, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Backup Solutions: Manage backup and recovery infrastructure, ensuring timely and accurate backups, as well as restore processes for critical data and applications.
- Disaster Recovery: Test disaster recovery plans, ensuring the company can quickly recover from data loss events, hardware failures, or other critical incidents.
- Data Integrity and Security: Ensure data integrity by implementing best practices in storage management, including encryption, redundancy, and access control.
- Capacity Planning and Optimization: Monitor storage capacity and performance, forecasting future needs and optimizing storage resources for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve storage and backup-related issues, collaborating with other IT teams to ensure a seamless data management environment.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of storage and backup configurations, policies, and procedures, ensuring clear processes for both operations and recovery.
- Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with network, systems, and security teams to integrate storage solutions into the overall IT infrastructure and support business continuity.
- Storage Systems: Strong experience with enterprise storage solutions (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE 3PAR, IBM), including SAN, NAS, and DAS technologies.
- Backup Technologies: Proficiency with backup tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik) for both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Disaster Recovery: Experience in developing and testing disaster recovery plans, with a focus on minimizing downtime and data loss.
- Data Protection: Strong understanding of data protection techniques, including replication, snapshots, encryption, and deduplication.
- Scripting and Automation: Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automating backup and storage tasks.
- Cloud Storage: Knowledge of cloud storage and backup solutions in platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Experience with performance monitoring tools and techniques to ensure storage systems are running optimally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in managing enterprise storage and backup environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex infrastructure issues.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
