CUSTOMER SERVICE ENGINEERS (REF.CSALB-06)
Responsibilities:
- Providing on site installations and upgrades of the company products, following produced CS plans either, by working alone, or as a part of a team
- Resolving Incidents and Problems addressed either, directly, from customers, and/or through the company's Technical Escalation process
- Using existing skills and knowledge, as well as appropriate support resources to find resolution to customer incident
- Production of pre-installation documentation containing detailed task lists and work plans for all sized installations following outlined templates
- Perform regular reporting to Customer Service Manager or Supervisor
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of working experience in maintenance of electronic equipment, computer hardware and electromechanical devices
- Computer Systems or Electrical Engineering College or University Degree
- MCSE and/or CCNA qualification or the ability to demonstrate a similar level of knowledge will be appreciated
- Knowledge of computer hardware and various communication interfaces between peripheral devices (RS232, RS485, RS422, CAN-bus, USB)
- Familiar with Microsoft operating systems and ability to diagnose problems with the software using operating system tools (e.g. Event viewer)
- Familiar with most common communication protocols, incl. TCP/IP and various MODEM protocols used in dial-up and leased line connections. Ability to diagnose faults in the communication lines
- POS/ATM product knowledge and experience in the Banking Sector will be considered an asset
- Fault finding skills and ability to work with electrical schematic diagrams
- Flexibility to work in various schedules
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Competent in English language
