Support Engineer - IT Infrastructure & Service Management Department

Tasks

  • Following up on pending requests made by the business units or end users.
  • Responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining personal computers and peripheral devices to a consistent level.
  • Install the operating systems with required patches/upgrades and Software as per regulation.
  • Troubleshoot problems related to End User PC, including Client Software problems like Microsoft Office, Emails, archives, document files and also printer and peripherals access.
  • Troubleshoot of printers and scanners problems and follow up their repair with the suppliers.
  • Troubleshoot PC problems and follow up with their warranty.
  • Support End Users in their software or hardware problems and escalate the problem to a higher-level technician if that is the case.
  • Recommend investments on new technologies/solutions to improve existing infrastructure.
  • Effectively communicates relevant practice information to superiors.
  • Work with project teams to help implement various Systems or hardware’s.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor University diploma in one of following branches: Computer engineering, Informatics, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science.
  • At least 1-year experience in IT Support.
  • Good knowledge of English Language to follow the documents, prepare reports and presentations.
  • Be honest, trustworthy and reliable.
