Economic Analyst at Risk Management Group

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Analyzing Data / Information: Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.

• Processing Information: Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.
• Collect and process economic and statistical data using sampling techniques and econometric methods
• Conducts individual research, prepare reports and simulation analysis to assess the implications of economic developments, regulatory changes and monetary / fiscal policy on bank’s portfolios;
• Formulate plans and provide alternative approaches and solutions to address problems impacting or imposing increased risk in the bank portfolios
• Estimating the Quantifiable Characteristics of Events, or Information - Estimating sizes and quantities of risk; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to address the risks expected to arise

• Economics and Accounting: Knowledge of economics and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and analysis and reporting of financial data.
• Knowledge of circuit boards processors, chips electronic equipment and computer hardware and software, including applications and programing;
• Systems Analysis - Determining how the changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes;
• Systems Evaluation - Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system;

Education and Experience:
Having graduated and completed master studies from relevant faculties: Economy, Business Informatics, Financial Mathematics, Econometrics and Quantitative Economics;

• Masters in Financial Mathematics, Econometrics and Quantitative Economics are highly prioritized;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking or similar field;
• Having applied mathematics and statistical programs to the finance industry, including the development and use of various financial models, probability theory, statistical analysis, numerical methods, computation and simulation methods;
• Excellent command of English;
• Excellent knowledge of PC;
• Ability to communicate represent and co-ordinate;
