Ofrohet Vend Pune Backend Developer/Backend Engineer
(Full-time / Remote, (REQUIRED HOURS: 9am - 5:30pm EST)

Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual team setting.
Work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and designers to build high-quality backend solutions.
Proactive communication and participation in code reviews, problem-solving sessions, and writing technical documentation.
Share responsibility for backend codebases and actively contribute to solving real user problems and improving overall code quality.
Ability to support ideas with research and clear reasoning.
Willingness to continuously learn and grow throughout the employment period.

Solid experience in backend software development using modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
Proficiency in working with relational and non-relational databases in a cloud environment such as GCP or AWS.
Strong experience using NestJS (or well-structured Node.js backend frameworks).
Experience writing well-structured, maintainable unit tests (e.g., Jest, JUnit, Mockito).
Proven track record of collaborating on code and documentation with large, distributed engineering teams.
Experience supporting and scaling high-load backend applications.
English proficiency at least at an intermediate level (must be able to pass a technical interview in English).
