Senior Test Automation Developer - Applications Development Department

Tasks
  • Design, develop, and maintain effective and scalable test automation frameworks and solutions for web, mobile, and API-based products.
  • Implement, execute, and optimize automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and quality assurance.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework to improve test coverage, stability, and execution efficiency.
  • Create, review, and execute manual test cases for complex scenarios not covered by automation.
  • Ensure high-quality releases by combining both automated and manual testing strategies across multiple environments.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and business analysts to identify feature gaps, define test strategies, and prioritize bugs and enhancements based on business impact.
  • Analyse test results, investigate failures, and provide detailed reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Perform test planning and estimation activities for new features and projects, ensuring proper QA coverage.
  • Contribute to quality standards and best practices, promoting test-driven development (TDD), behaviour-driven development (BDD), and continuous improvement in QA processes.
  • Evaluate and introduce new testing tools and technologies (for automation, performance, security, or usability testing).
  • Drive root cause analysis for critical defects and ensure preventive measures are implemented.
  • Continuously update technical knowledge and skills by participating in online courses, and QA communities.
Requirements
  • Graduated from a university in a relevant field (Informatics, Computer engineering, Computer Science, Electronic engineering.)
  • At least 3 years of experience in test automation of web applications.
  • Experience in test automation of mobile applications both android and iOS.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium and Cucumber.
  • Preferable experience in API Automation with tools like Postman, Newman.
  • Experience with Java (preferable) and/or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab.
  • Experience with Atlassian products like Jira, Confluence.
  • Knowledge in the following technologies: JMeter, Mocha, Junit or TestNG, Maven, IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code.
  • Able to work in team and willing to put up to team.
  • ISTQB testing certification and experience in Agile processes (SCRUM) is a plus.
  • Passion for new technologies and will to learn.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English is essential.
