TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is seeking to welcome a qualified candidate to join our dynamic IT Department in the following position:


Overall Job Definition:

The IT Network Officer main function is to take care of the computer networks in the organization. Providing regularly service to the networks so there are NO breakdowns in the LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network) communications.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Proactively monitors the Group’s global communications (MPLS) infrastructure and ensure minimal interruption;
  • Monitors and administer the bank’s Local Area Network (LAN) ;
  • Administers and secure bank’s Wireless Network;
  • Administers and manage the bank’s IP Telephony & video conferencing setup;
  • Manages and support global remote access and site-to-site Virtual Private Network (VPN);
  • Manages and administer bank’s Firewall, including upgrades, reviewing rules and deploying patches;
  • Installs, configures, integrates, upgrades and troubleshoots bank’s global network routers, local switches and general network infrastructure;
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses network issues swiftly and provide root cause analysis;
  • Prepares network design/architecture for new Group offices globally and assist in procuring and implementing recommended network infrastructure;
  • Provides adequate guidance to Network resources in Group offices with implementing security baselines and hardening Network devices;
  • Proactively monitors network infrastructure to enhance performance and report any issues to Group Head of IT Infrastructure;


Competencies / Skills:

  • University Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Certificates on Network solution would be an advantage;
  • Working experience a of minimum 3 years in IT field preferably in the Banking System, of which 2 previous experience in similar position.
  • Very good communication skills in verbal and written;
  • Very good knowledge of English language;
  • Very good organizational Skills;
  • Team work & Collaboration;
  • Very good problem solving skills;
  • Analytical thinking;
