Job Title: Manager
Department: Financial Control Department
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is currently seeking to hire a hardworking and proactive Manager to join Financial Control Department.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- Manages, coordinates and controls the job of the staff under his supervision and has responsibility for the performance and implementation of the responsibilities of the department. Daily preparation of the balance sheet of the Bank and of the accounts’ status;
- Export the central data in order to support the Department Managers for the management of the respective responsibilities;
- Administer the process for the budget plan;
- Administer the legal and regulatory requests;
- Monitor daily control of the accuracy of reporting of the central data of the Bank;
- Monitor daily control of the reconciliation of the accounts;
- Guarantee the accuracy and of the financial data in the European banking system;
- Reporting in a qualitative way of the monthly data of the bank. This reporting should comply with the requirements of the Upper Management regarding the content and quality;
- Develop well documented procedures that describe the work flow of the transaction and the flow of documentation from the origin of the account book;
- Assist in the implementation of the new banking systems;
- Identify the possibility for the system automation;
- Identify the possibility for the improvement of operations, reduction of expenses and improvement of income.
Required experience:
- More than 8 years in Financial Control, preferably in the banking system, of which 5+ in a managerial position;
- Required education:
- University degree in Finance or related field. Master is considered a plus;
- Knowledge of the internal banking regulation and the regulation of the Bank of Albania;
- Very good knowledge of IFRS;
- Good knowledge of the Tax Legislation of the Republic of Albania;
- Good Knowledge of English Language;
- Good knowledge of computer programs;
