Tirana International Airport SHPK (TIA) is seeking to hire a
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER
who will report to the Director of Assets Management and Environment Department of the company.
Main tasks and responsibilities of the position:
(for indicative purposes only. The responsibilities listed below can be subject of change upon recruitment)
- Responsible for monitoring the execution of construction works and report on all technical issues including but not limited to timeliness, quality, compliance with technical specifications and contract conditions.
- Responsible for compliance of completed works with the design documents, including assessment of the quality of the used materials.
- Responsible for coordinating with regard to site supervision and cooperation between contractors.
- Responsible for preparation of technical documents for construction projects.
- Assist in preparation of tender documents and in tender evaluations, and provide expert input in the evaluation of bids as required.
- Responsible for maintaining the archive of construction works.
- University degree in Civil Engineering.
- Previous job experience in infrastructure projects.
- Very good knowledge of the English language.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and AutoCAD.
- Able to produce readable reports.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Interpersonal effectiveness, drive to achieve, team work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
