Motrada Handels GmbH is a rapidly growing IT company. We design, develop and sell Internet auction platforms. Our customers are well-known international corporations from the banking and automotive industries. Our platforms are in use in over 17 European countries.
For our subsidiary in Shkodra, Albania we are offering the following position

Data Security Coordinator (GDPR Compliance)​

1. POSITION OVERVIEW: We are looking for a Data Security Coordinator to help us maintain a secure digital environment and
   ensure our handling of personal data is in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
   This position is open to candidates with various backgrounds — including law, compliance, or IT — and
   does not require deep technical knowledge. You will be part of a supportive, international team, working closely with our Data Protection Officer
   (DPO), IT, and Customer Care. Your focus will be on auditing our compliance with the contracts we
   signed with our clients, supporting internal awareness, and helping the company stay compliant with
   European data protection laws.
2. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: • Monitor Security & Privacy Risks
   Regularly check internal systems to spot any risks to data privacy or security.
   • Assist with Risk Assessments
   Take part in reviewing how data is handled and suggest improvements to protect it better.
   • Raise Awareness
   Help train staff on how to keep data safe and avoid common security risks like phishing.
   • Work with Customer Care& IT Teams
   Support updates to company policies to keep them aligned with data protection laws.
   • Keep Documentation Up to Date
   Record all key actions and security measures to support GDPR compliance.
3. REQUIREMENTS:
   • Educational Background & Experience:
   o Educational background in Law, Information Management, or a related field.
   o Some knowledge or interest in GDPR and data protection principles.
   o Prior experience in security monitoring, IT security, or data protection is a plus.
   • Technical & Compliance Skills:
   o Strong attention to detail with a solution-oriented and responsible mindset.
   o Familiarity with security protocols, access control, and incident response.
   o Understanding of data privacy laws (preferably GDPR) and how they apply in practice.
   • Soft Skills: -> Good English!!!
   o Team player with excellent communication and documentation skills.
   o Comfortable working independently while maintaining an eagerness to learn.
   o Ability to handle tasks with a high level of accuracy and meet deadlines. Note: This role is suitable for both recent graduates and professionals with some experience in data protection or compliance.
