SOS Children’s Villages in Albania is looking for a Face to Face Coordinator responsible for coordinating face to face fundraising activities for raising funds from individuals according to business plan and targets set.
The Face to Face Coordinator aims to position SOS Children’s Villages as a strong and consistent partner among potential and existing supporters, based on SOS Children’s Villages roots, vision, mission and values.
Requirements for the position:
- A proven track record of at least 2-4 years in individual fundraising, marketing or sales - depending on the educational background;
- University degree in business administration, psychology, marketing or fundraising;
- Experience in face to face fundraising channel, direct sales or telemarketing;
- Experience in planning, executing and analysing acquisition campaigns via face to face fundraising or direct sales channels and tools;
- Knowledge of direct fundraising/sales techniques and principles, including methods of tracking and monitoring results, performance, budget;
- Experienced in database management (segmentation, CRM);
- Able to manage own time and to work under high pressure;
- Strong negotiating skills and ability to work in coordination with a larger team (fundraising and communication team, project implementation team);
- A strong result-orientation combined with a proven competence in strategic planning, analysis and evaluation;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and social competence;
- Good written and spoken English skills;
- Good MS Office commands (Word, Power Point, especially Access and Excel);
- High level of responsibility;
- Strategic thinking;
- Good organizational skills;
- Flexibility; Creativity;
- Self-confidence.
- The Face to Face Coordinator is responsible for fulfilling the business plan and for reaching the set and agreed targets.
- She/he plans, monitors, analyses and evaluates face to face activities according to the planning and reporting procedure and against defined and agreed KPIs.
- She/he has to adhere to all official manuals, guidelines, minutes of Fund Development & Communication Workshops and standards issued by the SOS Children’s Villages or the Fund Development & Communications Department as well as to the legal requirements in the country.
- She/he monitors competitors in terms of face to face fundraising in the country.
- Has the responsibility to protect children from all forms of abuse, abandonment, manipulation, violence and discrimination;
- Has the responsibility to report any suspicions, concerns, allegations or incidents regarding the safety of children immediately;
- Has the responsibility to act without delay; delay in action can lead the child to further risks;
- Includes the right people at the right time; reporting should be made to the child protection group at program level and / or to the line manager;
- Ensures confidentiality and sharing of information as needed;
- Has the responsibility to respect the Regulation on “Prevention and Protection against Sexual Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse” as well as Code of Conduct.
- He / she is expected to promote and support a culture of respect, dignity, trust and accountability that deters violations
- Full-time, 5 days a week: Mon-Fri;
- Employment contract in accordance with the Labour Legislation of the Republic of Albania;
- Training both at the beginning and in the process of work;
- A team of friendly professionals ready to help.
