Job Position: Marketing Specialist
Department: Retail Department
Position summary
Marketing Specialist is responsible for marketing and promotion of the Bank’s products and services in both print and digital media. Manages the Social Media and Digital Presence of the bank, while will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and measuring campaign performance.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent social media presence and reporting on the effectiveness of Bank’s social media efforts.
- Manages content, posting and engagement, for multiple social media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.
- Researches and develops content for maintaining regular postings across multiple social media platforms.
- Develops content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and marketing goals.
- Monitors social media accounts, responds to comments, messages, and engage with followers in a timely and positive manner.
- Updates and designs promotional materials and website related to product and process updates
- Contributes creatively to the development of marketing materials.
- Serves as a backup for maintaining and updating the bank’s website and copywriting as needed.
- Generates awareness among the Employees about new products.
- Recommends to management advertising mediums that will deliver the bank’s advertising message with maximum impact at minimum cost.
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with local media including print, radio, and television.
- Assists in supporting the bank’s brand standards; ensures external and internal messaging and designs concepts for the bank adhere to the bank’s standards and compliance.
- Maintains a wide variety of contacts within and outside the bank, coordinating marketing activities, promoting services, exchanging information, and representing the bank at civic functions and in professional organizations.
- Helps with management/coordination of bank events, fairs and sponsorships.
- Collaborates with the HR team and helps in recruitment campaigns to attract the best talent, increases brand identity & creates a customer-centric company culture.
- Practical knowledge in web design, graphic creating an ad word campaigns setting.
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software and applications.
- Exceptional communication, analytical and writing skills.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
- Well organized person focused on results.
- Proactivity and creativity is a must.
- Fluent English.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications or similar.
- Detailed knowledge of digital marketing/advertising (Social Media platforms and Google Ads).
- Good knowledge of content, layout, video editing with graphic design programs (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator preferred)
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented and good organizational skills
