BUSINESS MANAGER (ALBANIA & KOSOVO)
Our client is BIC®, whose products are known and appreciated all over the world for their quality, their affordability and ease of use. These products make BIC® one of the best known international brands, present in 3.2 million retail outlets, in more than 160 countries. As their business is growing rapidly, they have a new vacancy for a dedicated and dynamic Business Manager in Albania and Kosovo.
THE ROLE:
The main task of the BM will be managing the business in Albania and Kosovo by managing the distributor and Key Account customers. The BM will report to the GENERAL MANAGER/ CSE EUROPE based in Bratislava. The position is located in Tirana.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for maximizing long-term BIC Brand forecast and profit goals while keeping strong relationships with BIC distributor
- Contributes to BIC Vision and Values by achieving assigned sales budget objectives
- Responsible for communicating and implementing BIC regional initiatives, policies and standards across key accounts and other customers
- Maintains high-level customer contacts and relationships; builds consumer and customer satisfaction on BIC Brands (Stationary, Shavers, Lighters)
- Develops total understanding of: BIC customer business environment and needs, category and market, competitive strategy, BIC internal operating policy and procedures
- Develops effective relationships with distributor’s key personnel, BIC managers and regional peers
- Communicates information and customer needs to management
- Ensure customer performance at or above standards in all key selling areas: Distribution, Pricing, Shelf and Promotion
- Ensures complete execution of agreed-upon plans
- University degree in Business Administration or Marketing
- 5 to 7 years of increasing levels of sales responsibility with a minimum of 2-3 years sales management experience in FMCG industry
- Previous successful experience with international companies and distributor management is also considered an advantage
- Knowledge of one of BIC categories is a plus
- Good Market knowledge of Albania, preferably Kosovo as well
- Fluent in English
- Strong negotiation skills respecting the company pricing and sales policy and establish commercial agreements
- Good financial knowledge, capacity to deliver budgeted results and establish accurate forecast
- Agility: capacity to deliver results despite difficult context
- Analytical skills, accurate and reliable
- Very good management of priorities, well organized
- Ability to work autonomously and resistance to stress
- Hands on approach and high self motivation
- Capacity to imagine new potential leverage for BIC Business and to propose creative ideas on new ways of gaining and /or managing accounts.
