Business Controller
Purpose of the position: The purpose of a Business Controller is to ensure the financial health and performance of a company or business unit by providing accurate financial reporting, strategic analysis, and decision support to management.

Business Controller
Purpose of the position: The purpose of a Business Controller is to ensure the financial health and performance of a company or business unit by providing accurate financial reporting, strategic analysis, and decision support to management.
Main Task:
- Oversee General Ledger, Commercial Accounting and Warehouse accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Act as business partner to departments, providing guidance on expense classification and cost allocation.
- Monitor budgets and control operating expenses, analyzing variances and performance drivers.
- Prepare monthly management reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, cash analysis) and submit it through the group consolidation platform (experience with Cognos will be considered an asset).
- Calculate and post accruals and provisions, ensuring correct period allocation of revenues and expenses.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and monitor Fixed Assets register.
- Produce operational cost analysis (Logistics, Transportation, Hub Operations).
- Prepare weekly sales forecast and support financial planning process.
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports and performance analysis.
- Prepare financial presentations and insights for senior management and Board of Directors.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or economics.
- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- 3 -5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or controlling roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and internal controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong business acumen and ability to partner with cross-functional teams and senior management.
