ACCOUNTS PAYABLE TECHNICIAN
Job Mission
The Accounts Payable Technician at Meliá Durres is responsible for performing local tasks within the management role in the business units, related to the accounting recording, control, and settlement of all obligations and commitments entered into with third parties providing goods and services. This role ensures the proper functioning and compliance with procedures within the business units, executing tasks delegated by the Business Partner of the Operations Centre/Hotel.
What You Will Do
- Compliance with Procedures: Execute tasks in compliance with the rules, processes, and procedures of hotel administration.
- Support in Closing Tasks: Assist the Business Partner in the execution of local closing tasks and other delegated responsibilities.
- Internal Audits: Collaborate in internal audits on points that affect the role.
- Invoice Recording: Record all types of invoices (materials, consumptions, services) applying the applicable taxes or withholding taxes and following the established procedure based on the type of invoice.
- Payment Proposals: Prepare payment proposals and corresponding records in SAP.
- Supplier Service: Provide service to suppliers/creditors and reconcile balances.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
- Education: University education in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar.
- Skills: Knowledge of financial analysis (Business Plan, modeling), preparation of annual budgets, internal cost control, accounting balances, and tools related to planning and forecasting, analytical costs, and budgets.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in tool management (PMS, SAP, Office Package) and knowledge of hotel operations.
- Languages: Proficiency in Albanian and advanced English.
- Qualities: Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
