We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Information Security Analyst to strengthen our cybersecurity operations. The selected candidate will take part in advanced incident management, threat analysis, and security monitoring activities within enterprise environments. This role requires a strong technical background, analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate junior analysts and interact effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Education:
University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science (Informatics), Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or other related scientific or technical disciplines.
Equivalent professional experience in cybersecurity may also be considered.

Experience:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of information security.
Experience may be counted from the date of graduation or from the beginning of the professional career in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and analyze cybersecurity incidents within enterprise environments, ensuring timely detection, response, and escalation.
Perform technical investigations of incidents within SOC or CERT structures.
Define and optimize correlation rules, alerts, and security configurations to improve detection efficiency.
Conduct proactive security analyses to identify potential weaknesses or misconfigurations.
Participate in malware analysis and support reverse engineering activities using appropriate tools.
Review and interpret network protocols and traffic patterns to identify anomalies and indicators of compromise.
Support the development of forensic analysis processes and contribute to post-incident reviews.
Produce detailed, clear, and actionable reports for technical and management teams.
Mentor and coordinate junior security consultants within the team.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Solid understanding of IT operational processes and enterprise infrastructures.
Strong expertise in incident handling and escalation procedures.
Knowledge of forensic analysis processes and tools.
Proficiency with detection, alerting, and event analysis systems (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR).
Experience in tuning and defining correlation rules for event management systems.
Knowledge of malware analysis tools and reverse engineering fundamentals.
Deep understanding of network protocols and traffic analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication abilities for interacting with stakeholders and drafting comprehensive reports.
Fluent in written and spoken English.

Preferred Certifications:
Possession of one or more of the following certifications is highly valued:

CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials)
CompTIA Security+
CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)
