We are looking for a true "Systems Architect"—someone who doesn't just know how to build a funnel, but understands the logic of how data moves between platforms. If you love building "Rube Goldberg machines" that actually work, debug webhooks for fun, and know GoHighLevel better than your own backyard, we want to talk to you.

The Role​

You will own our marketing and operations tech stack. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that our GoHighLevel account is a well-oiled machine and that it "talks" perfectly to our other tools via Zapier or Make (formerly Integromat). You will move us away from manual data entry and "duct-taped" solutions towards robust, scalable automation.

Key Responsibilities​

1. GoHighLevel Architecture
  • Workflow Logic: Build complex GHL workflows (snapshots, triggers, campaigns) that nurture leads, book appointments, and reactivate cold databases.
  • Pipeline Management: Structure and clean up sales pipelines to ensure 100% visibility on lead status.
  • Funnel Building: Design and implement high-converting landing pages, forms, and surveys within GHL.
2. Automation & Integration (The "Stuff")
  • Advanced Zapier/Make: Build multi-step Zaps/Scenarios. You should be comfortable with Paths, Filters, Formatters, and Webhooks.
  • API & Webhooks: Connect GHL to third-party tools (eg, Slack, Google Sheets, Payment Gateways, proprietary apps) using generic webhooks when native integrations aren't enough.
  • Troubleshooting: Act as the first line of defense when an automation breaks. You must be able to trace the data to find the error (eg, "Why did this lead not get the SMS?").
3. Data Hygiene & Reporting
  • Ensure contact tags, custom fields, and smart lists are organized and standardized.
  • Set up dashboards to track conversion rates, appointment show rates, and automation health.

Required Skills & Qualifications​

  • GoHighLevel Mastery: You have spent hundreds of hours inside GHL. You know the difference between a Workflow and a Campaign, and you know why the former is better.
  • Automation Logic: You are an expert in Zapier (or Make.com ). You understand JSON basics and how to map data fields correctly between applications.
  • Problem Solving: You don't just say "it's not working." You say, "The webhook fired a 400 error because the phone number format was wrong, so I added a formatter step to fix it."
  • Technical Communication: You can record a Loom video explaining complex logic in simple terms for the non-technical team.

"Nice-to-Have" (Bonus Points)​

  • Experience with Make (Integromat) is highly preferred over Zapier for complex logic (iterators/aggregators).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (for beautifying GHL emails and funnels).
  • Experience with OpenAI/ChatGPT API integrations (eg, auto-generating responses for leads).
  • Basic JavaScript/Python knowledge (for "Code by Zapier" steps).
