Position Overview​

As a Seasonal Waiter/Waitress at Green Coast Hotel, you will act as a brand ambassador throughout the peak summer season. You will provide attentive, professional, and personalized service to our guests across restaurant, bar, and beach areas, ensuring service excellence that reflects five-star hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities​

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus, daily specials, and beverage offerings with confidence and professionalism.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and process them efficiently using the hotel’s POS system.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring high standards of presentation and service consistency.
  • Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized service to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in all service areas, including restaurant, bar, and beach service zones.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Comply fully with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and internal service procedures.
  • Assist with inventory control and report shortages, breakages, or damages promptly.
  • Participate in ongoing seasonal training to maintain product knowledge and service excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications​

  • Previous experience in a luxury or five-star hospitality environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume seasonal environment.
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service aligned with Green Coast Hotel standards.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays during the season.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills is an advantage.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays as required.
