Green Coast Hotel is looking for a Seasonal Front Office Shift Leader (April – September)
The Seasonal Shift Leader in the Front Office is responsible for supervising and coordinating front desk operations during their assigned shift throughout the peak season (April to September). This role ensures high standards of guest service, efficient check-in/check-out procedures, and smooth daily operations while supporting and leading the front office team during a high-volume period.
• Ensure all guest interactions meet the hotel’s customer service and professionalism standards, especially during peak occupancy.
• Oversee accurate and efficient check-in and check-out procedures to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Monitor room assignments, availability, and reservations in coordination with the reservations and housekeeping departments.
• Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and daily support to front office team members, including seasonal staff.
• Manage cash handling, billing procedures, and daily shift financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve guest issues and ensure smooth operational flow.
• Prepare shift reports and detailed handover notes for the next shift or management.
• Support the Front Office Manager with administrative tasks and operational needs during the seasonal period.
• Previous experience in front office operations, preferably in a supervisory or shift leader role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and team coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-demand seasonal environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
