Seasonal Lifeguard – Green Coast Hotel (May – September)

The Seasonal Lifeguard at Green Coast Hotel is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of guests at the hotel’s swimming pool and beach areas during the busy season (May to September). This role involves monitoring swimmers, enforcing safety rules, and responding promptly to emergencies to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.

Main Responsibilities:​

• Monitor the pool and beach areas to ensure guest safety at all times.
• Enforce hotel safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed.
• Conduct regular safety checks of pool equipment and surroundings.
• Assist guests with safety instructions and answer any related questions.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool and beach area.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to support guest services and safety protocols.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports and logs accurately.

Required Qualifications:​

• Previous experience as a lifeguard or in a similar safety role is preferred.
• Certified in lifeguard training, first aid, and CPR.
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
• Professional and approachable attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays during the season.
