The role requires excellent communication skills, knowledge of the local area, and the ability to anticipate and exceed guest expectations. As a Seasonal Concierge, you will act as an ambassador for the hotel, helping guests create memorable experiences during their stay.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide personalized concierge services, assisting guests with requests such as arranging transportation, booking tours, and offering local recommendations to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
- Assist with restaurant reservations, event tickets, guided tours, and spa or recreational appointments according to guest preferences.
- Offer up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, dining, shopping, cultural experiences, and events to provide unique recommendations tailored to each guest.
- Provide high-level service to VIP guests, ensuring their specific requests and preferences are anticipated and fulfilled.
- Maintain effective communication with other hotel departments (Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage) to coordinate guest services seamlessly.
- Address guest issues, complaints, or special requests promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Manage the concierge desk, keeping it organized, logging all requests accurately, and maintaining reports of guest inquiries and services provided.
- Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Stay alert to any security or safety concerns and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
- Work closely with other departments, especially the Front Desk, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences during the seasonal period.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a concierge, in guest services, or in a customer-focused hospitality role is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training or certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) and basic office software.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
