Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet and assist guests with luggage, providing a warm and friendly welcome to the hotel. Escort guests to their rooms and explain in-room amenities and hotel facilities.
- Assist guests with transportation arrangements, including coordinating taxis, shuttle services, or rental cars.
- Help guests load and unload luggage as needed.
- Provide guests with information about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, dining options, and transport.
- Ensure that the hotel lobby, entrances, and guest areas are clean, organized, and welcoming. Report any maintenance issues to the relevant department.
- Deliver items such as mail, packages, or messages to guest rooms promptly, and assist with special guest requests during the busy season.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of guests in all interactions.
- Manage and track lost and found items according to hotel procedures, logging and returning items whenever possible.
- Provide additional support during high-volume periods, particularly assisting guests with luggage during check-in and check-out.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of hotel facilities, local attractions, and transport options.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
