Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the menu and the hotel’s standards.
- Manage and supervise a particular kitchen station (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry, vegetables).
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner during high-volume periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
- Monitor portion control and food wastage.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and report any shortages to the Sous Chef.
- Train and support junior kitchen staff as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Participate in menu planning and development when required.
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a high-standard kitchen environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
