Revenue Assurance Specialist

Ensuring that processes and system results are complete and accurate. Identifying and preventing potential revenue leakages through monitoring of all systems involved such MSC, Rating, invoicing and billing by investigating, analyzing and reconciling system outputs. Resolving issues by preventing leakage risks and make sure to be aligned with product & service as commercial agreement with the client.

Main Tasks:

  1. Performing regular reconciliations and analysis of revenue streams, as per Revenue Assurance established models/controls; to ensure that the appropriate chargeable records are generated, metered correctly, and appear correctly on end customer billing.
  2. Periodic controls on the volume of traffic for all the subscribers registered into the network switches for the flow they perform until they reach the destination: From Switching node, Mediation to Billing systems (postpaid and prepaid).
  3. Monitor and check accuracy and completeness of roaming traffic generated by our customers and visitors in our network. Identification, follow up and correct of all issues identified.
  4. Periodic controls for accuracy of rating for all the revenue streams. Check the accuracy of billing invoices to identify possible errors and correct before invoices reach customers. Accuracy of PAYG tariffs and package assignment.
  5. Controls of databases flows, queries and reports utilizing network data, CDRs, billing and customer data to enhance and develop effectiveness of work though traffic trend monitoring.
  6. To identify those areas where leakage might occur in the future and take action to modify existing or incorporate new controls that will prevent these leakages from happening.
  7. Interact with a wide variety of other departments to identify and resolve revenue-impacting issues.
  8. Prepare monthly reports for the controls of Revenue Assurance.
  9. Other duties as per job responsibilities.
Education: University degree in Informatic Economy, Business Information System or Computer Engineering.
Experience: At least 3+ years of working experience in related fields (telecoms).
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical skills and accuracy
  • English Language proficiency, in both spoken and written;
  • Proficient in PC skills and good knowledge in PC programming
  • Good knowledge of the telecom industry
  • Strong business awareness and investigative mind
  • Self-initiative and able to work independently.
