RAN Engineer / Electro Magnetic Fields

Job purpose: The RAN Engineer/Electromagnetic fields position, implies dealing with the RAN planning & design activities, coupled with electromagnetic field verification on site and over desktop analysis.

Main job accountabilities

• Designs/ Monitors and Evaluates the RAN Base Station performance and its compliance with Albanian /VF EMF requirements coupled with the VF-Global RAN KPIs on service perception. Follow-up on EMF Safety issues and formulate relevant RAN deployment strategy.
• Suppliers liaison regarding RAN equipment
• Employ cost and quality efficient RAN design rules. Support technically other sections.
• Produces periodic reports on RAN performance and EMF related verification activities.
• Radio 2G Ericsson/NSN BTS and 3G NSN Node B
• EMF Verification/Measurements.
• System configuration work order production for Cell Planning and RAN performance monitoring
• Special radio coverage studies and specific EMF verification for the indoor base stations.
• Responsible to generate procedures and ensure the correct implementation

Profile Requirements

• Required Telecommunication University Degree
• Sound knowledge of the Mobile Telecommunications Field and EMF
• Excellent knowledge on RAN products and features
• Excellent, clear verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to gather, interpret and communicate information clearly and in a short time.
• Capable to perform Radio Base Station visits in different locations in Albania.
• Good English knowledge
