We are seeking a skilled Policy Analyst to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of CLIENT policies.
The role involves conducting research and analysis, drafting policy documents, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and legal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support policymakers in developing and implementing policies.
• Draft legislation, concept papers, policy documents, briefing notes, and reports.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, evaluate policy effectiveness, and develop recommendations.
• Compile progress reports targeting stakeholders in the European Parliament and Council.
• Monitor new policy developments and assess alignment with CLIENT objectives.
• Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including Member States, international organizations, and civil society.
• Contribute to policy development processes, including impact assessments and ex-post evaluations.
• Communicate policy initiatives and results through reports, presentations, training materials, and other channels.
• Maintain an up-to-date network within the policy community.

Qualifications:

• EQF Level 6 degree in Law, Philosophy, Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, Engineering, International Relations, Business Administration, European Studies, or a related field.
• Additional training or qualifications in policy analysis, project management, or public administration are desirable.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant professional experience.
• Familiarity with EC and EU policy-making processes and institutions.
• Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks and policy instruments.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership building.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and research abilities with the capacity to synthesize complex information.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and productivity tools.
• Knowledge of EU Customs, Taxation, CBAM/Climate policies, or related policy areas.
• Understanding of political, legal, and economic contexts of EU policies.
• Experience with EC evaluation methodologies and impact assessment frameworks.
• Fluency in English.

Certifications (Optional):

• Professional certifications in policy analysis, project management, or public administration.
• Adherence to EC-specific guidelines and procedures for policy development and implementation.
