Job Title: Money Market Dealer
Division: Treasury and Financial Markets
Reports to: Head of Treasury and Financial Markets Division
TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is currently seeking to hire a hardworking and proactive Money Market Dealer to join Treasury and Financial Markets Division.
The Money Market dealer will be responsible for managing the Bank’s overall funding requirements, liquidity position and interest rate exposure and to ensure all key risk indicators are in compliance with internal limits and regulatory requirements. The applicant should have a clear understanding of various ratios and regulations in respect of Treasury function and the ability to manage the operations within the various risk and regulatory limits.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- Manage cash flow, liquidity and interest rate risk for the Bank
- Ensure all key risk indicators are in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
- Manage and monitor the Bank’s day to day liquidity
- Quote money market rates in accordance with Bank’s liquidity position and latest developments in the financial markets.
- Efficiently manage money market operations including lending, borrowing and FX Swaps
- Within the compliance framework and authorized limit, explore business opportunities for the Bank by applying financial instruments
- Maximise return on cash investments
- Manage credit lines in favour of third parties regarding Treasury activity
- Maintain healthy professional relationship with other inter-bank market participants
- Continuously monitor and analyse economic indicators, trends in domestic and international financial markets and prepare the relevant reports for ALCO
- Prepare periodic and extraordinary reports related to money market activity.
- Willingness to accept higher responsibilities as and when required.
Required experience:
- 4 years minimum of relevant expierence in financial institutions – Money market desk in Bank will be preferred;
Required education:
- Bachelor in Economy;
- Other related Diplomas;
Required competencies / skills:
- Strong analytical skills;
- Ability to plan and multitask;
- Organised with attention to detail;
- High degree of discipline and strong sense of compliance and risk control;
- Report writing;
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters and MS Office programs;
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate initiative;
- Very good knowledge and use of English language (verbal and written);
