"Terre des hommes" Mission in Albania
A vacancy has arisen in the Tdh Mission in Albania for Program Manager based in Tirana.

[FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]Terre des hommes (Tdh), a Swiss foundation based in Lausanne, without preoccupation of political, racial or confessional bias, has been active in Albania since 1993. Based on its Charter and the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, Terre des hommes intervenes in 30 countries of the world, to improve the situation of children. In Albania, Terre des hommes has been running projects that aim to tackle issues of child trafficking and child protection and implemented a 3-year project to support the development of a child protection system. Its new projects will continue to focus on strengthening capacities, policies and practices for responding to the needs of children at risk or victims of abuse.[/FONT]

• [FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]Overall supervision and management of projects and related staff on child protection related issues[/FONT]
• [FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]Assist Head of Mission in strategic program development and implementation[/FONT]
• [FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]Contribute to fundraising and reporting[/FONT]
• [FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]Lead the communication, research and advocacy work of Tdh[/FONT]
• [FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]Represent Tdh in Albania in various advocacy meeting and events. [/FONT]

[FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]Qualifications and experiences[/FONT]

• [FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]Background in social field ( MA in a social related are is a preference)[/FONT]
• [FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]At least 5 years of experience in managing projects on child rights, community based or any related issues[/FONT]
• [FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]Excellent writing and communication skills[/FONT]
• [FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]Experience in advocacy and lobbying in human rights [/FONT]
• [FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]Demonstrated experience in fundraising[/FONT]
• [FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]Good team player[/FONT]
• [FONT=Gill Sans MT, sans-serif]Proficiency in English and fluent Albanian language is an absolute requirement[/FONT]
