Interconnection Specialist


Purpose of position:
Responsible for the declaration and reconciliation process within the deadlines as per interconnection agreements.


Duties

- National interconnection traffic (mobile, alternative operators, prepaid cards, etc.) Management of invoicing process and disputes (monthly declaration and reconciliation with operators, invoicing confirmation, SAP data entrance, settlement of disputes, etc). .
- Follow up the balance/payment status based on finance reporting in accordance with interconnection agreement terms with national operators. Take necessary actions to solve the issues.
- Analyze and calculate the bank guarantee for new and existing operators based on interconnection agreements.
- Prepare monthly reports for national interconnection service (traffic, revenues, expenses, etc.)
- Report periodically the financial result of the traffic or rate change. Analyze the traffic change, identify the reasons and suggest the actions.
- Analyze and report the problems related the quality, capacity. Inform the marketing for the tariffs and code changes.
- Analyze and report the daily / weekly traffic. Identify the problem and escalate to fraud. Based on the fraud case calculate the financial obligation value. Share the request for interruption of the service
- International interconnection tariffs management (periodical tariffs update and maintenance as per carriers' notification, distribute the tariffs to internal and external parties, update the table as per routing implemented, etc.)

Skills

- Accurate and good with numbers; analytical skills,
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills
- Ability to take action as a contributing member in a team environment
- Willing to work under pressure
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
- Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)



Experience

- At least two years of previous job experience in interconnection or roaming.



Education
- University degree (preferred in Economics)
