Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement digital identity solutions and trust frameworks using decentralized identifiers (DID) and verifiable credentials (VC).
- Ensure security, privacy, and interoperability of identity systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define identity management requirements and standards.
- Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and best practices for digital identity.
- Monitor emerging trends and technologies in digital identity.
- Coordinate design, implementation, and operations of systems from a cryptographic perspective (electronic certificates, distributed identities, verifiable credentials).
- Propose use cases and conduct impact assessments to maximize technology value.
- Deliver training, information, and communication on identity technologies.
- Support procurement and contract management activities from a cryptographic perspective.
- Identify and propose mitigation actions to prevent security incidents.
- EQF Level 6 degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Cryptography, or a related field.
- Optional certifications: CISSP, CISM, CBP.
- Minimum 3 years’ IT experience, including at least 2 years in identity and access management.
- Strong expertise in DID, verifiable credentials, cryptographic methods, and trust frameworks.
- Knowledge of digital identity standards and frameworks (e.g., eIDAS, GDPR).
- Familiarity with blockchain and distributed ledger technologies.
- Experience producing IT architecture documents related to digital identity and trust frameworks.
- Experience with regulatory compliance in digital identity and cybersecurity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to translate complex identity and cryptographic requirements into technical solutions.
- Proactive in identifying risks and proposing mitigation actions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
