Fix Broadband Specialist

Purpose of Position

Responsible for the fix Broadband service configuration and troubleshooting of Residential, Corporate, and bit stream customers on MSAN/DSLAM and DNS.

Main Task

To follow up and monitor service availability of all DSLAMs equipment of Fix Network.
To execute standard and preventive maintenance procedures for ensuring 100% service availability of DSLAMs equipment.
To perform necessary operations for configurations on new or existing customer services on MSAN, DSLAM, BRAS and DNS.
To perform necessary operations for troubleshooting of issues related to broadband service on MSAN, DSLAM, BRAS and DNS.
To take quick actions and resolve service related problems with high accuracy in shortest possible time.
To collaborate with other relevant teams for issue's solving.
To follow implementations of new services /systems in collaboration with other teams
To maintain and promote mutual cooperation within team.
To improve knowledge on Linux systems and DNS servers.
To improve knowledge and professional skills continuously.

Skills

Good knowledge of Unix/Windows based systems;
MSAN/DSLAM, BRAS and DNS operation and troubleshooting;
Good command of English Language;
Very good communication and team working abilities;
Available to work overtime when necessary;

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in the same field;

Education

University Degree in Telecommunication / Computer Science / Computer Engineering;
