Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client billing data, energy usage, and supplier pricing structures to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth market and economic research to track changes in supply, demand, and pricing across energy markets.
- Prepare financial reports, comparative analyses, and forecasting models that support procurement and strategic decisions.
- Evaluate regional and national energy trends to anticipate price fluctuations and business impacts.
- Collaborate with departments such as Bill Auditing, Market Research, and Procurement to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of economics, including how supply, demand, and market dynamics affect pricing and strategy
- Excellent analytical, logical, and quantitative reasoning skills, with very strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional research and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, charts, and structured reporting).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
