EPPC Albania on behalf of its client, SHELL Upstream Albania is currently recruiting an Cost Controller.


Major responsibilities:



  • Coordination and monitoring of costs and aligning with different Wells disciplines, and Shell Upstream Albania (SUA) teams to assure alignment with projected costs;
  • Preparing the Quarterly Performance Appraisal pack which is presented to Wells & Finance VP’s;
  • Helping front End-Design Engineer to align projected spend with appropriate cost center ( this information is then updated into the SUA Financial Tracking tools (SAP, EDM and CTT);
  • Tracking and reporting the monthly costs to allow the remote finance team to reconcile SAP (system with all invoices and payments made);
  • Tracking of spend vs project budget and to assure fiscal correctness;
  • Build and maintain a detailed cost tracker and input the cost information daily;
  • Analyze cost reports, detect issues, and effectively communicate the project’s cost performance, issues/ concerns, & recovery plans to the project team;
  • Support the Wells team with any cost related questions by providing cost analysis & making sure cost is being allocated in correct cost centres.


Requirements / Profile of successful candidate:



  • A degree on Finance/Economics/Accounting;
  • Employee should know how to read and analyze financial information by advising cost recognition & allocation according to accounting standards;
  • Strong skills in Excel, PPT, SAP and ability to learn new software’s quickly;
  • Ability to manage and openly communicate with all stakeholders to ensure accurate cost data is submitted (vendors, office-based engineers, wellsite supervisors, finance team) ;
  • Detailed oriented and keen on learning Oil &Gas industry standards and engineering.
