Our client is looking for a "Business and Corporate Lawyer "

OBJECTIVE:

· To examine and advise on the legality of company’s decision and to establish a procedure to be followed while implementing any decision.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Negotiating employee contracts
• Preparing and filing government reports
• Drafting legal documents
• Reviewing new business relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Guiding managers on regulatory and compliance matters
• Administering training workshops
• Formulating employee handbooks
• Analyzing legal issues relating to proposed products
• Representing the corporation before administrative boards and court trials
• Providing supervision to outside lawyers hired to assist the corporation with their specialized legal services
• Structuring joint enterprises with other organizations
• To consult and handle all corporate legal processes (e.g. intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, compliance issues, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents);
• To be knowledgeable for the Albanian Corporate Law;
• To develop company policy and position on legal issues;
• To research, anticipate and guard company against legal risks;
• To guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations;
• To structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents;
• To represent company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials etc.);
• To draft and administer all contracts;
• To negotiate deals and attend company meetings;
• To prepare legal briefs, develop arguments, strategy, and testimony for case presentation;
• To compose all the paperwork as required, for the company;
• To interpret rulings, laws, and regulations for businesses and individuals;
• To prepare business contracts, settling labor disputes, paying taxes and administering other legal matter.

DESIRED PROFILE:

• Degree in Law from an accredited institution;
• Specialization in corporate law or any related field is an advantage;
• 4 years of comparable law firm experience. Experience in Big International companies would be an advantage;
• Proven background on corporate law (contract law, tax law, accounting, securities law, bankruptcy, licensing,);
• To have a high sense of confidentiality;
• Excellent negotiation and communications skills;
• Administrative and managerial skills;
• Analytical ability and strong attention to detail;
• Ability to operate well with corporate professionals;
• Energetic individual with unusual initiative;
• Commitment to outstanding performance;
• Finding practicable solutions;
• Willingness to learn;
• Good internal and external information management;
• Good Command of Italian language (written and spoken), English language would be an advantage.

REMUNERATION/ SALARY: Highly competitive.
