Contract Management Senior Specialist /Expert


Purpose of Position

Responsible for Contract Management activities within the Procurement and Logistic Department.

Main Task


  • Draft and edit contracts between the company and potential clients prior and after finalization of the procurement process.
  • Follow up with contract execution and coordinate with vendors to ensure obligations of contractual agreement are duly complied and executed.
  • Assess contractor performance to identify the need for amendments of existing contracts when necessary.
  • Handle breach of contracts in a timely manner by ensuring low contracutal risk or loss for the company.
  • Serve as the main liaison with outside contracting representatives on discussion of terms and conditions during the drafting and execution phase.
  • Research regulations to guarantee contracts are updated and in compliance with laws.
  • Register contractual agreements in the database and maintain the database to be easily and timely accessible for reporting purpose.
  • Prepare respective reports on contract management activities as requested by Manager
  • Take part in contract negotiation phase with the vendors when technical assistance is requested by the Manager.

Skills

  • Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office package;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, contract documents, and legal specifications;


Experience


  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role;

Education


  • University Degree in law or relevant field. (Master Degree will be considered as an advantage)
