Claims Analyst

We are looking for a Claims Analyst who will oversee insurance claims for personal, property, or casualty loss based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage.
Responsibilities:

• Ensures complete and sound claim settlements.
• Legal reviews and investigations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Collect information from various sources to determine insurance liability based on the extent of property or personal damage.
• Interview claimants and witnesses
• Estimate if the damage is covered by insurance policies and calculate payments.
• Work closely with Operations and then also with the clients to ensure a smooth and fair process to appropriately settle all claims in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience working with claims.
• Transportation industry highly desirable.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening, problem solving, and negotiating skills.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision to manage schedules and meet deadlines.
• Detail oriented with a commitment to excellence.
• Poised and professional demeanor.
• Proficient in the use of software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
