About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of solar energy infrastructure, ensuring stability, compliance, and efficiency in execution.
The role requires a professional who can support the design, planning, and construction of civil works for large-scale solar energy projects, ensuring that all activities comply with safety regulations, construction codes, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee civil engineering aspects of solar energy projects, including site preparation, foundations, and structural elements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to evaluate project conditions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international construction codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Supervise construction activities, ensuring quality control, safety, and adherence to project timelines.
- Perform structural analysis and risk assessments for solar panel mounting systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and construction plans.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and best practices in solar energy infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in civil engineering within the renewable energy, specifically solar sector.
- Strong knowledge of structural design, geotechnical engineering, and foundation analysis.
- Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000 or similar.
- Experience in large-scale construction projects, preferably in the energy sector.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and inspections.
