We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Thread Manager to represent the ISD sector and ensure alignment across business and IT sectors throughout the entire lifecycle of applications and systems. This role requires strong coordination, technical understanding, and expertise in managing cross-sector projects and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent ISD in all interactions with business sectors and stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all project and system lifecycle phases.
• Coordinate cross-sector projects, integrating multiple units and overseeing resources (people, hardware, software) as needed.
• Review technical documents for standard solutions and delegate specialized reviews to qualified staff.
• Ensure project expectations align with ISD services, SLA, architecture, security, and processes; manage exceptions or escalate when necessary.
• Validate business cases, service descriptions, and non-functional/interoperability requirements with IT architects and technical teams.
• Oversee deployments, operational testing, and release management to ensure smooth production transitions and maintain service quality.
• Represent ISD in contract preparation, software release processes, and operational readiness improvements (Agile/DevSecOps).
• Facilitate communication between ISD and business sectors, support operational planning, and contribute to ISD knowledge base and process improvements.
• Report weekly on progress and liaise with project leaders, Business Thread Managers, contractors, DIGIT C, LISO, and relevant DGs.

Education:

• EQF Level 6 in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT, including at least 4 years in project and/or service management.
• Knowledge of CLIENT key technologies and applications landscape.
• Understanding of DG DIGIT hosting offers and associated processes.
• Familiarity with ISD service catalogue is an asset and should be acquired quickly.

Certifications:

• ITIL
• PM2, PMP, Prince2
• Process Management Certification

• Experienced in process management, analysis, and improvement
