Billing and Charging Specialist

Purpose of position: Maintain, support, and control billing-related activities on the network and billing process.

Main Tasks:
  • Planning and implementing the changes on Billing & Charging Systems in UAT & Production platforms as a result of release, incidents management;
  • Implementation of new services, system updates, SW upgrades or enhancement in Billing & Charging Platforms (dPCC, SCP, DRA, HomeNet, Voltdb, dBRM, SAP, FMS, etc.);
  • Execution and monitoring of Fix Invoice Process, (include FIX Invoice Checks) and Fiscalization Process Support and provide necessary fixes for Customer Care;
  • Handle request & queries coming from different stakeholders in the company and externally;
  • Execution of Acceptance Tests during upgrades or issue fixes installations in Billing & Charging platforms, support and monitor Dunning Process activities;
  • Perform day-to-day health checks and activities for operations and maintenance of the platforms and ensure the service availability of Billing & Charging applications by proactive and preventive maintenance activities;
  • Handle incidents to restore services or to provide solutions, escalation, follow up close until resolution;
  • Analyze, investigate, and resolve customer complaints based on agreed SLAs;
  • Other duties at the request of the Superior based on job profile.

Education: University Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or other similar branches.

Experience and Qualifications: At least 2 years on telco similar position.

Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package, very good IT and Telco systems literacy ( Billing, Diameter, SCP, Camel, SS7, Web-Services, Gx/Gy/Ro/Rx/Rf);
  • Capable of working in a group and under pressure, communicative and reliable;
  • Good knowledge of XML, Python, PHP, Oracle database, and SQL scripts;
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix, Databases;
  • Spoken and written fluency in English.
