Our firm is seeking a rounded candidate for one of the biggest companies operating in Albania in the position of :

ACCOUNTANT​

[FONT=&quot]General accounting including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the senior accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]general ledger operations[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]prepare journal entries[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]assist with preparation of monthly financial reports[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]assist with tax computations and returns[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]assist in budgets and forecasts[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]assist with payroll administration[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]account/bank reconciliations[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Education and Experience[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]College degree or equivalent[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]knowledge of accounting principles and practices[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]knowledge of finance principles[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]knowledge of financial reporting[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]technical accounting skills[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]previous experience of general accounting[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]proficiency in relevant accounting software[/FONT]
