Job position: Store Manager

Department: Retail

Location: TEG and QTU

POSITION SUMMARY:

The store manager has overall responsibility for the store’s results, operations, concept, visual merchandising, staff, and work environment, and ensures that the market's laws, rules and guidelines are followed in the store.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure the implementation of Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s commercial and operational concept, in line with company manuals and guidelines.
Oversee the receiving process of products, ensuring efficiency and coordination with store staff schedules.
Plan staff shifts based on customer flow and peak hours to optimize service and productivity.
Assign daily tasks to Sales Assistants, ensuring efficient execution of store operations.
Monitor and report on store compliance with concept standards using the designated reporting tools.
Maintain accurate stock data by following established inventory processes.
Ensure the store operates in full compliance with local laws, policies, and health & safety regulations.
Take full responsibility for the store team, managing the entire employee lifecycle: contracts, onboarding, training, motivation, development, well-being, work environment, sick leave, follow-up, succession planning, and terminations.
Lead recruitment and employment processes, with prior approval from the Area Manager.
Ensure adherence to labor laws, collective agreements, and internal policies.
Foster staff development, motivation, and retention through talent management and well-being initiatives.
Build strong internal relationships and promote effective teamwork across the organization.
Communicate and embody the company’s values, goals, and culture within the store.
Provide coaching and support to store staff in areas such as sales, visual merchandising, and operational excellence.



REQUESTS:

  • Result-orientated and business-driven
  • Strong selling skills combined with sales coaching skills.
  • Excellent understanding of customer service and focus on customer experience.
  • Understanding of commercial and visual merchandising principles.
  • Previous retail experience.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office package.
  • Ability to understand English.
