Senior Network Administrator

Job Description
  • Responsible for network design, implementation of high availability and maintaining a secure network infrastructure
  • Administering all Network Nodes of Bank which include Routers, Switches, Firewalls and IPSs.
  • Responsible for Core Network Devices on both Primary and DR Site (ASR 1000 Series, Catalyst 6500 Series etc)
  • Excellent understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, EIGRP etc)
  • Understand and deploy functional networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN)
  • Responsible for Internet and VPN configuration and accessibility.
  • Following up hardware/network malfunctions with suppliers.
  • Troubleshoots and resolve network related problems.
  • Develop and implement network management systems and related tools.
  • Responsible for the Network Monitoring Software`s and guarantee that alerts are correctly send via email and SMS to proper teams in time
  • Monitors and reports network performance and capacity for future network infrastructure improvement purposes.
  • Participate in development and maintenance of policies, procedures and technical documentation
  • Effectively evaluate and recommend various new network products to superiors for purchase.
  • Securing the perimeters as per standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or other IT related disciplines
  • Has at least 5 years’ experience in Network Administration.
  • Has proper knowledge of English Language to follow up the communication, documentation, and preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Be able to work overtime and travel to other cities if required.
  • Be honest, trustworthy and reliable.
  • Professional Network Certification are an asset
  • Experience of Cisco ACI - Application Centric Infrastructure is plus.
