Job position: Senior Editor
Contract Terms: Indefinite
Location: Doha (Qatar)

Summary: We are looking for an experienced and professional Senior Editor to join an International Company based in Doha (Qatar) with a heritage that dates back to 1945.

As a Senior Editor, you will be responsible for the development/support of all digital imagery-related jobs, both photo, and video. This position organizes, sets up, operates media equipment, and trains others to assist in that effort, as needed. The role is also responsible for the smooth operation of the video editing and reproduction in the processing of movie film & video. Also assists the Head of Post Production as and when necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ability to create artistically interesting and appealing designs for the client.
• Produce rough illustrations of design ideas, presentations, and sketching/drafting by hand or by a computer program.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, each with a different deadline.
• Create visual content that identifies a product or conveys a message.
• Ensures health and safety guidelines in the Videography production are followed.
• Participates in the planning & production of high-profile programs.
• Responsible for all recorded materials including shot-list.
• Provides operational guidance & consultation to maintain & ensure that the system & device are functional.
• Review designs or any revisions before the final packaging or export.
• Meets deliverables and deadlines for projects assigned by his/her superior
• Establishes, organizes, and maintains a network storage library for media files by applying the Post editing standards.
• Update and maintains the graphical content of the company’s website and other AV/Motion media.
• Render video and audio for different delivery methods.
• Meet with Clients or the Head of the Project to determine the scope of the project/job, when
• required, ensuring that the idea/message is effectively expressing the information provided/requested
• Advise clients on strategies to reach a particular audience.
• Representing the company in front of clients when required.
• Developing a good portfolio.
• Building a network of contacts and achieving a reputation for quality & reliability to secure future assignments.

Education:
• Bachelor’s/University Degree in Filming/Video making/Graphic Design is preferred.

Work Experiences and required skills:
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the field of editing and the photography and videography Industry.

Language skills:
• Fluent in English (written and oral).

Other interpersonal Skills:
• Ability to communicate effectively with oral, written, and computerized graphic methods
• Professional knowledge and skill levels are kept up to date to meet the position’s needs.
• Using an extensive range of technical equipment including computers and peripherals related to videography
• Supervisory experience is preferred
• Advanced knowledge of usage of 2D, 3D compositing and animation software is highly recommended
• Illustration skills are a plus
• Excellent in Infographic
• Excellent in 3D ANIMATION
• After effect / flash / toon boom (2D software)
• 3D max / CINEMA 4 D / MAYA (3D software)
• Very well experienced in live streaming & live feed
