Job position: Senior Accountant
Contract Terms: Indefinite
Location: Doha (Qatar)

Summary: We are looking for an experienced and professional
Senior Accountant to join an International Company based in Doha (Qatar) with a heritage from 1945.

The purpose of the position is to maintain and control the financial activities of the Group Administration department in the Head Office, including internal coordination hence any penalty that arises, i.e., fee payment of any government-related document submission or renewal electronically or manually.

Duties and Responsibility:

Prepare debit notes to affiliated and sponsored companies against monthly service charges and follow-up their timely payment
• Prepare Monthly Bank and Credit card reconciliation statements and submit them to the Head Office Finance Manager.
• Preparing monthly receivable/payable reports for Group GM Administration
• Managing and issuing Tickets for Villa/farm staff from Qatar Airways Q-mile A/C
• Receive the Debit Notes against RP (Resident Permit) renewal from Group & affiliated divisions and enter MIS for each employee.
• Preparing LPO for Fixed Assets and IAPR or any other consumables required for Admin Dept.
• Initializing the car transfer under the company name to the employee's name after confirming the Car loan settlement, then providing PROs with the required documents for manual application.
• Maintain the Company QNB bank A/C and Credit card for immigration transactions.
Check, Sign, and verify each expense claim for Immigration expenses. Renewal of manual RP, SP change fees, Renewal of Company ID, Trade License, and Labor contract stamping fees. Etc.
• Cross-check every documentation for all E.GOV invoices (like; NEW RP, RP renewal, Exit permit, Multiple exit permit, Work Visa, and Medical fees) paid by the immigration department.
• Regular follow-up and control of New Resident Permit and RP renewal process.
• Checking and confirming passport officer regarding pending RP Renewal for All Division to avoid subsequent penalties.
• Communicate with E. Government /Hukoomi support team to solve the immigration problems.
• Documents and provides the request to PRO for submission to the immigration department to start the process of RP renewal and pay electronically and follow up with PRO until the job is done.
Follow-up and control Work/Business Visa fees applied electronically.
• Maintaining a report for all employees entering Doha daily to be used for cross-checking with the joining report
• Exit permits payment in case of emergency Leave.

Education:


• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in accounting.
• A Master's Degree in accounting is a plus
• Professional Accounting certifications such as CMA and ACCA are a plus

Work Experiences and required skills:

• 5 to 7 years experience in core accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and other financial applications.
